Sugarpill Burning Heart Palette Review!

Today I will be sharing my thoughts on the Sugarpill Burning Heart palette and Dollipop pressed eyeshadow.
The Burning Heart palette comes with four eyeshadows which are: Love+, Poison Plum, Flamepoint, and Buttercupcake.
  • Love+: A bright, vibrant red.  This eyeshadow is very pigmented and applies with ease.  The texture is very smooth and it has a semi-matte finish.
  • Poison Plum: A vibrant purple with micro flecks of purple.  This eyeshadow is very pigmented.  The texture is smooth and it has a satin finish.
  • Flamepoint: An intense orange.  The texture of this eyeshadow is super velvety and has excellent pigmentation.  This is the brightest, most pigmented shade of orange I've come across.
  • Buttercupcake: A bright yellow.  This shade does not apply as evenly or as smooth as the rest of the shades but it is as pigmented as the rest.  This eyeshadow has a matte finish.

(left to right) Love+, Flamepoint, Buttercupcake, Poison Plum

Overall: A-
Product: 40/50 Exceptional eyeshadow formulas, insanely pigmented, smooth, and last all day!

Value: 18/20  This palette allows you to get four eyeshadow colors for $34.  You can purchase each shade individually for $12 each, so this eyeshadow palette saves you  $14!

Use:  13/15  These eyeshadows are easy to apply, have smooth texture, and blendable.  The only exception is Buttercupcake which is not as easy to apply as the rest.

Packaging:  15/15  The packaging on this palette and on all Sugarpill products is super cute! The palette is also very sturdy and has a big mirror.

NEW mark. Lipclick SPF 15 Color Shine Lipstick!

Mark. has just launched their new range of "Lipclicks" for the summer. They are sheer lipsticks with SPF 15 protection, perfect for the summer! These new lipclicks add shine and sheer color to the lips while protecting them from the sun's harmful rays.

Product: 40/50 - These lipclicks deliver exactly what they say they will: sheer color, shine, and SPF protection.

Use: 15/15 - The lipsticks themselves apply very smooth and are perfect to throw in your beach bag or purse for on the go application.

Packaging: 15/15 - The packaging is the same as the regular lipsticks which is a plus.  They have a magnetic close case which provides excellent security especially if you want to throw it in your purse or beach bag and not have to worry about the lipstick opening and ruining your purse!

Value: 18/20 - For $10 each they are a bit pricey for a sheer lipstick!

Overall:  B+
They are a great concept for the summer especially because they allow you to add color to the lips and still protect them from the sun!

You can purchase these lipclicks from my mark. Eboutique!

mark. Speedway Do Everything Makeup

Love the coverage a cream foundation provides but hate the cakey-ness afterwards? I sure do!
Over the past few weeks I have been trying out mark.'s Speedway foundation and I fell in love with it! mark. describes it as
"Hide under-eye circles, cover skin imperfections and even out skin tone with this oil-free, multitasking mini stick that can be used as a concealer or foundation. Special formula goes on like a lightweight cream and dries to a powder finish."
Upon first application I fell in love with the creaminess and the smoothness of the product as it applies.  This foundation formula is super blendable which can be rare to find in some cream products.  This is a medium to full coverage product that provides a dewy finish.  I expected it to dry down and feel dry and cakey but after 8 hours of wear it stayed looking fresh and dewy.

The only downfall of this product is the amount of product you get.  You receive 4 grams/ 0.14 oz of product for $10.  Although it is a great product some people may have a hard time forking over $10 for a little 4 grams of product.

Overall, I think this foundation is great and if your on the lookout for a cream foundation with great coverage minus the cakey-ness you should definately check this one out!

You can purchase it on my mark. Eboutique store for $10!

MAC Fix+ Review!

This is a review of MAC's Fix+.  Fix+ is a skin refresher/finishing mist.  This spray retails for $19 on http://www.maccosmetics.com/

"An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!"
This product may seem like water in a bottle, but let me tell you ITS WAY MORE THAN THAT.  I absolutely love this stuff!  I use this after I finish my makeup to set it and make it look more natural.  This helps eliminate the "powdery" look some products might leave on your skin.  I also like to carry this around with me just in case my skin starts feeling "tight" or "dry" throughout the day.  Another good use for this product is to apply eyeshadows using the FOIL method.  The FOIL method is when you dampen your eyeshadow brush to apply a loose eyeshadow and give it that wet/metallic look.

So, as I stated above I love this product and recommend it to everyone!  (I've already gone through three bottles since I started using Fix+.)  It helps with the overall appearence of your makeup and helps it last longer.

Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick Review!

These new Covergirl lipsticks came out a while ago.  I only picked up two shades from the whole color range.  I picked up the shades in 400 Temptress and in 330 Divine.  I like the packaging on these new lipsticks because you can see the actual color on the bottom of the tube, which makes it way easier to find the color you need.

I also like how these lipsticks are in square packaging instead of the traditional round tube. The material is hard plastic, and I have a feeling that if you accidentaly drop one it might crack or break.

So the first shade I picked up is 400 Temptress.  Temptress is a bright hot pink.  This lipstick goes on super creamy and opaque.  I don't feel it necessarily moisturizes you lips but I feel it doesn't dry them out either.  This hot pink shade is super pretty for a bright pop of color in the summer time.

The next shade I picked up is 330 Divine.  I bought this shade because I have nothing like it in my makeup collection.  This shade is very unique in my opinion.  It's like a mix between a bright purple washed down with hot pink.  I can't think of any other way to describe it.  But, nevertheless, it's a beautiful shade.

Mark. Go With The Pro Review!

This is a review on the mark. Go With The Pro mini brush set.  This set retails for $16.  It comes with five brushes.  The brushes include a powder brush, concealer brush, eyeshadow brush, a lip brush, and an eyeliner brush.  Those five brushes are essential for anyones makeup collection.
This set comes with a cute little pouch that zips up.  The pouch is of sturdy material that won't rip easily. The pouch itself is very small (5 1/4" L x 2 1/4" H), making it perfect to throw in your purse for quick touchups throughout the day.

So now onto the brushes themselves...

The powder brush is really soft and dense.  This brush is not rough at all and provides good powder application.  I used this brush for blush and it worked great for that.  I'm pretty sure it would also work great for powder foundation.
The eyeshadow brush is also very soft.  What I like the most about this brush is that it is pointed at the end. You can pack on color on the lid and in the crease with the pointed tip. It's also fluffy
enough to blend out color.

Next, is the concealer brush.  It's a pretty decent concealer brush, it provides good coverage.
The eyeliner brush is a very small dense brush. It also has a pointy end. This brush is more to smudge eyeliner than to apply a thin line.

Last but not least is the lip brush.  I absolutely love lip brushes so I was super excited that this kit included one.  This lip brush is very nice.  It applies lip products flawlessly.

Overall, I was pretty impressed with this brush kit.  All the brushes are of good quality and apply product flawlessly.  I would recommend this kit to anyone starting out with makeup, anyone that needs brushes to keep in the purse for touchups, or anyone who is looking for good brushes on a budget!

You can purchase this kit at my mark. Eboutique!

Mark. Cosmetics Get A Tint Review!

Hey Guys,

I'm back with another review.  This is going to be a review on mark. cosmetics Get A Tint tinted moisturizer lotion.  I have the shade in Buff/Natural.  I recieved this product when I signed up to be a mark. Representative.  Once I tried it for the first time I fell in love.

This is a moisturizer with a tint of color.  This is mostly for use when you just want or need a little bit of coverage.  It's like a very sheer foundation.  I love the dewy effect it provides since I have very dry skin.  I think people with oily skin will have to set this product with a powder in order to avoind looking too shiny.

Notice the dewy effect it provides
Overall, I think this is a very nice tinted moisturizer on a budget.  It retails for $10 at my mark. eboutique.  There are a total of four shades to choose from.

Wet N' Wild 8 Pan Palettes!

Comfort Zone
 Hey Everyone!!
First off, this is my first review post and I hope you find it helpful! Anyways, as you can tell from the title this post will be a review of the new Wet n' Wild 8 pan palettes. I only have two of them at the moment, Comfort Zone and Blue Had Me At Hello, and I honestly don't plan on purchasing the 3rd one (purples), just because it didnt get my attention.

Ok, so now onto the review... This one on the left is Comfort Zone.  Its a very neutral palette of colors.  Its an "everyday" kind of color selection.  You have gorgeous browns and greens and they can be used for a day or evening look.  Personally, this is my favorite palette of the two I have.

from left to right: (Left Column of palette) Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer

The Browbone shade on the left column is a very shimmery pale yellow shade.  Its super soft and very pigmented.  It can also be applied lightly for a subtle sheen on the browbone area. The only downfall in my opinion is that it has tiny chunks of glitter, and when I say tiny I mean TINY. Other than that it is a beautiful highlight and may also be used as an all over lid shade.

The Eyelid shade is a mix between a brown and melon color.  At first it reminded me of Melon pigment from M.A.C but Melon is way more melon-y (lol).  I absolutely love this shade as an all over color.  The pigmentation is superb.

The Crease shade is a warm medium brown.  Its very pigmented, soft, super blendable, and absolutely gorgeous! The finish is like a M.A.C's veluxe pearl.

The Definer shade is a matte dark brown with medium brown sparkles.  This is probably the most pigmented shade from the bunch.  Its super duper soft, a little goes a long way!

from left to right: (Right Column of palette) Browbone, Eyelid,
 Crease, Definer

This Browbone shade is a mushroom-y grey color.  Its a unique shade, very hard to describe.  But without a doubt its stunning!  Personally, I wouldn't use this shade as a highlight because i think its to dark for my highlight, but I think it would be beautiful on darker skin tones.

The Eyelid shade is a warm chartreuse shade.  Its super pigmented and blendable.

The Crease shade is matte dark green almost black with green sparkle.  This shade is the least pigmented shade from this palette.  It's not as soft and blendable as the rest of the shades.

The Definer shade is almost burgundy brown with a green sheen.  This shade is very unique.  Its pigmented, soft, and blendable.

Overall, I highly recommend this palette.  And you can't beat the price tag! $4.99!! You can find this palette at any retailer that sells Wet n' Wild cosmetics.
Blue Had Me At Hello
So now onto the 2nd palette! This one on the left is Blue Had Me At Hello. This one is a blue color scheme palette.
With this palette you can also do a day look and darken it up for an evening look using the same palette. I love when companies do that so you dont have to look for darker shades that match elsewhere. You have it all in one palette!

from left to right: (from left column) Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer. (from right column) Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer
The first Browbone shade is a super shimmery/glittery white.  This shade is not very pigmented, therefore you can only see the white shimmer/glitter.  I think the glitter really takes away from this shade. Rather than getting a subtle white sheen you get chunky glitter.

The first Eyelid shade is a medium silver.  There is no glitter to it and I love that.  This shade goes on with ease and has great pigmentation.

The first Crease shade is a matte black with navy sparkle.  This shade is super pigmented and blends easily.  In the pan it looks very navy but when swatched or applied on the eye area it looses alot of the navy-ness.  You just get a matte black with very subtle navy sparkle.

The first Definer shade is a matte black.  This shade is not as pigmented as I thought it would be.  Don't get me wrong it is pigmented but it tends to sheer out very easily when swatched or applied.
